Teaching Philosophy

“Any child who is properly trained can develop musical ability just as all children develop the ability to speak their mother tongue. The potential of every child is unlimited”

Shinichi Suzuki
  • I believe that each child is unique in their own ways, and have unlimited potential. I strive to help my students find their own voice in their piano playing
  • I strive to help your child find their sense of fulfillment in piano playing and their love for music
  • I will help students understand music fundamentals such as note reading, rhythm, and improvisation
  • I also strongly believe in the importance of ear training, and will train students to recognize a beautiful sound and make a beautiful sound on the piano
  • I believe that the efforts, hard work, and time spent on perfecting their craft will allow students to find learning music a meaningful experience
